I decided to reinstall windows on my computer because I need to access my CD drive. Ubuntu won't do it for some reason. Well, after I erased my disk and reinstalled windows, then nothing would work! I finaly got xUbuntu installed, and I hope I can use that to get things going again. I am sort of enjoying this.

I might try some C# programing too, but its a pretty steep learning curve.

I could not get python to reinstall on crunch-bang, so I installed xubuntu instead. Xubuntu is great! I found out that you have to be very careful with gparted (a partition editor) or you can delete the OS from your computer. I did it twice before I learned my lesson!

I installed Crunch bang Linux on a 1 gig USB drive, and then I wrote a little python program from my memory without referring to a book. I am very impressed that I can do all this on only 1 gigabyte! Crunch bang does a great job of web browsing too.

Steves Swiss Army Knife program

I tried limegreen as a color for the main window, and it worked! So, now I have a two tone GUI. I added a note taking window too, and it will save whatever you type to a text file. I am going to test it out at work.

I copied the code from my note program, and I pasted it into my utility program. Turned out pretty nice, but I am not done yet. I am going to add some more widgets.

I have created a little program that I can use to write down and save little notes with. I am going to try it out at work. I am jotting down little notes all the time at work, so I naming my homemade program JotIt.
